Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy combines cognitive behavioural therapy with hypnotherapy which evidence based research shows to be the most effective treatment in the case of anxiety disorders, for example. Combining CBT with hypnosis adds enormous value to positive outcomes.
Using cognitive behavioural techniques, we look at how our cognitions (thoughts) affect our emotions, our behaviour and our actions. With this knowledge, we work collaboratively to establish the clients' therapy goals and put together an effective therapy plan. Using hypnosis to reinforce our new and more positive thoughts and behaviours, whatever the presenting issue, most are dealt with in four to six sessions. We quickly establish the problem and then concentrate in working on effective and lasting solutions. We aim that our clients achieve a measurable benefit from day one and permanent benefit from our methods.
Hypnosis is completely safe and an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Contrary to some popular belief, nobody under hypnosis can be made to think or act against their will.

CBH is an extremely effective teatment program for many issues including anxiety, stress management/resilience building and dealing with fears, phobias and insomnia.

CBH is also a very effective way to stop smoking. This is done in one two hour session. You need never smoke again. Dealing with cravings through CBH and making this form of smoking cessation easily accessible, you will see you are not giving anything up at all but gaining immeasurably. We operate a multi-level program that is uniquely effective, particularly for hardened smokers. We believe it is the most effective treatment available. CBH is reccommended by the Department of Health NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) as an effective treatment for IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome).
CBH is extremely effective as part of a weight loss program. Reinforcing your self-will using CBH techniques you can more effectively stick to weight loss plans.
CBH can be used in cases of depression with collaboration of a clients medical professional. We cannot advise on medication but can work with your GP to improve your symptoms and with the collboration of your medical professional, wean you off anti-depressants.
CBH is also very effective for treating insomnia.
